Unit Details:
- Skilled nursing/LTC unit includes two resident hallways plus St. Theresa's Garden memory support area.
- Night shift travelers assist with Thursday night medication cassette changeover.
- Occasional residents may be on IV fluids.
- Charting kiosks are located in every hallway.
- Uses pagers for communication.
- Day ratio: 1 RN/LPN on each hallway, sharing St. Theresa's Garden; 1 CNA on each hallway and bath aide, and 1 CNA in St. Theresa's Garden.
- Night ratio: 1 RN/LPN for the entire facility, with a Med Aide from 6:00pm-10:00pm, 2 CNAs, and a Med Aide for St. Theresa's Garden.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Schedule is posted two weeks at a time.
- Overtime starts after 40 hours.
