Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians.
Required Skills/Experience:
Surgical stepdown experience at a Level 1 trauma center is required.
More than 1 previous travel assignment required.
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Tertiary facility experience preferred.
Special Requests:
Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers.
Unit Details:
The unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients.
Average patient ratios are 1:3, 1:4, or 1:4-5 when caring for MedSurg patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and every other holiday.
