Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with cardiac patient populations, chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac drips required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Low-level ICU skills preferred.
Unit Details: Patient ratios: 1:5-6 for cardiac patients and 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown population. Uses telemetry monitoring. Cardiac population with trauma and stepdown level of care, including telemetry. Common diagnoses/treatments: chest pain, VATS, stroke/TIA, pre- and post-open heart surgery, pacemakers, heart blocks, vascular, CHF.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Call only if census is low.
