Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry.
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Management of dysrhythmias.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Common diagnoses/treatments: total hip, total knee, total shoulder, hip fracture, spine surgery, trauma surgery, general medical/surgical overflow.
- Common meds: Hydromorphone PCA, epidurals.
- High volume discharges and admissions daily.
- Equipment used on the unit: Baxter IV pumps, SIGMA Spectrum Infusion System, Omnicell.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
- Call requirements: none.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to all sister units.
