Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have MS and inpatient hematology oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum).
- Must have at least 1 year hematology oncology experience in work history and checklist.
- Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass.
- Must have experience with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma/Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. -Skills Required: • MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) • Telemetry monitoring • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Use of Rapid Response Teams • Feeding tube care and management • Blood product administration • Central line blood draw • Peripheral line care/management • PICC line management • Nasal cannula administration • Central line sterile dressing changes • Chemotherapy administration
Preferred Skills/Experience: Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any Ohio State University facilities.
- Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit.
- Unit performs autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants and CAR-T therapy.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend shifts are variable based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements:
- May float to other MedSurg Oncology units.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
