Required Credentials:
Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Unit Details:
General surgical adult population with telemetry capability.
Supported by PCTs and a healthcare unit coordinator.
Virtual sitter monitoring is available, as well as monitor techs for telemetry patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
Travelers will be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period and holidays if the department has a need.
