Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Weekend shifts for Nights are Fri/Sat/Sun
• Holiday Requirement: Holidays will depend on the needs of the unit. If they don't have enough perm staff to cover holidays, travelers would be expected to work holidays.
• Call or standby requirement: Depending on their contract they could be called off for low census. (Traveler would need to discuss the specifics w/ their recruiter if they have questions about this)
Floating Requirements: Travelers are the 1st to float. Floating is required to any MedSurg units. If floated to Tele they would be assigned patients w/ in skillset.
