Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Credentials:
- You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
- Dysrhythmia exam is pass/fail with 2 attempts.
- SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes is required and is pass/fail.
Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
- Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details:
- Uses Philips monitors; RNs must interpret EKGs.
- Vents: CPAP, high flow.
- Common diagnoses/patient population: cardiac stepdown, lung transplant, CP, MI, pre-transplant, esophagectomy, ER overflow, detox. Travelers do not take transplant patients.
- Non-titrating gtts.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 3 of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period.
- Holidays worked into holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to any other telemetry unit, T5, T6, and Neuro Tele.
