Required Skills/Experience:

• In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to.
• Expertise in neuro assessments, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube care, and groin site management post-IR is required.

Special Requests:

• Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit.
• If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift.
• A maximum of 1 week of pre-approved time off can be accommodated.
• Block scheduling is accepted as long as it accommodates every other weekend.

Unit Details:

• The role involves higher-acuity Med-Surg care with post-op neuro/spinal surgeries, Level 2 trauma patients, Level 1 trauma post-ICU care, stroke patients, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend is required.
• No call is required; voluntary call is available.
• Flexible contract hours: 72 or 96 bi-weekly.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating is required to any other Med-Surg or Tele units.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
