Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency caring for all patient types, including a variety of med-surg patients.
- Experience with heparin.
- Charge experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred.
- Precept experience preferred.
Special Requests:
- Past UnityPoint Health employees who worked as FTE or PRN for the UnityPoint Health float pool cannot take a travel assignment in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. This does not apply to prior UnityPoint Health travel assignments.
Unit Details:
- All types of med-surg care.
- Remote telemetry technician monitoring.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
- Holiday rotation; required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years), unless the unit is closed.
- Every other or every 3rd weekend, depending on staffing/census.
- No call.
Floating Requirements:
- Traveler will be required to float across all campuses within pertinent skillset/unit contracted for.
