    Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

    References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Will approve a limited amount of block scheduling.

    Unit Details: MS Neuro patients include med/surg tele patients with strokes, stable neurological deficits, post-neurosurgery procedures, and other Med Surg overflow. Common diagnoses/types of patients: joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, failure to thrive. No RT equipment troubleshooting. RNs titrate heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine drips. Common titratable and/or set rate drips: PCA pumps. Nurse aides/patient care techs available; ratios 1:10-20. Tele techs will interpret; RNs should have some tele awareness. Mechanical lifts in every other room. This unit typically has multiple discharges and admissions in one day. They serve patients of all cultures on this unit, including Spanish, Karen, and Burmese.

    Shift & Scheduling: Travelers will be scheduled. At least every other weekend, but additional weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs and census. 2-3 holidays from Thanksgiving to New Years.

    Floating Requirements: Floating to other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients waiting for a MedSurg bed.
