Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry interpretation and monitoring.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Oncology experience preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, and encounters for antineoplastic chemotherapy.
- 17 James cares for all solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and transition to end-of-life care.
- Cares for patients with true med surg issues.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekends are variable based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
