References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: Neurology RN experience required; must be comfortable with the NIH scale and proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and other various neurology diagnoses.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract, with no exceptions. Candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Neuroscience, neurology, neurosurgical, and telemetry unit. Designated stroke unit. Thrombectomy-capable. Level 3 epilepsy center. Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: No call required. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Float between units to meet unit needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
