Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
- Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
- Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% score or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Special Requests:
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
- Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
- In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Unit Details:
- Provides care to a highly acute cardiac progressive patient population, including heart failure, ACS/AMI, STEMI, post-cath, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, pre-surgical VAD/transplant/CABG, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac gtts.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
