Additional Details:
In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license. Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Required Credentials: Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with two attempts allowed. Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required; minimum 80% score, with two attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required; minimum 80% score, with two attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum 80% score, with two attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with two attempts allowed.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Unit Details: Medical pulmonary stepdown unit with medically complex patient population. All patients are on bedside cardiac monitors. Drips include heparin, insulin, cardizem, nicardipine, and dobutamine.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules. Every other weekend and one major holiday per contract.
