Additional Information
Preferred Skills/Experience: CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, and pediatric DKA experience preferred.
Unit Details: Common diagnoses/treatments include post-open heart, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, Surgical ICU, post-stroke with lytics, post-craniotomy, and septic shock. Uses Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, bolt monitoring, vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No scheduled call, but may be placed on call if unit census drops.
Floating Requirements: Floating is done on a rotation with the travel nurses.
