Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Interventional cardiac patient experience, IV skills, stable drips, pulling sheaths, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management required.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Interventional Cardiac / Procedure Unit. Pre/post invasive and diagnostic procedures, cardioversion, pre/post angiogram, elective PCI, EP patients including ablation, lead placement, and pacer placement, pre-TAVR and Mitral Clip, and post-op recovery for structural heart cases going home the same day. Heavy on interventional cardiac patients and procedures. Procedures and therapies on the unit include TEE, cardioversion, procedure sedation, blood/blood products administration, defibrillation, epicardial pacer management, sheath removal, tele interpretation, heparin, and insulin.
Shift & Scheduling: No weekends. No holidays. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floating required to like units; travelers must be flexible to floating.
Previous Employment Requirements: Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
