Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemo/biotherapy certification. Oncology, hematology, and/or transplant cellular therapy experience. Competent in IV placement. Experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapy administration. Experience in blood products, antibiotic, IVIG, and IVF administration. Experience with immunocompromised patients.
Unit Details: Outpatient infusion care for transplant cellular therapy and liver/renal transplant programs. Supports the apheresis program, stem cell collection oversight, and outpatient CAR T infusions. Typical procedures include infusions of IVIG, blood products, Albumin/Lasix, electrolyte replacements, antibiotics, IV hydration, chemotherapy including lymphodepleting chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular administration. Granix and Mozobil injection administration for transplant/cellular therapy collections. Provides oversight for cellular procedures after required training is completed. Uses Baxter infusion pumps.
Shift & Scheduling: Subject to working weekends and/or holidays if staffing needs arise.
