Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Oncology/chemo experience required.
- Med-Surg experience.
- Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required.
- Administration of chemotherapy, accessing/managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, PICC line care, starting and maintaining IVs, antibiotics, antiemetics, Foley catheter insertion/management, isolation precautions, telemetry interpretation, and telemetry monitoring.
Required Credentials:
- Must pass the Relias EKG exam.
Special Requests:
- RNs who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or Compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
- No medical marijuana cards accepted.
- Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
- Adult BMT oncology patient population with leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma; management of complications from blood cancers, including GVHD.
- Unit includes auto stem cell transplants and chemotherapy administration.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating is required throughout the Oncology department as needed and clinicians will be floated to the unit with the greatest need per shift. Will not always be working specifically on 9800 unit.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
