    Additional Information

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience: Must have MS and inpatient hematology/oncology experience (1 year minimum). Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. Must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass. Must have experience with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma/Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. MS/Tele. Telemetry monitoring. Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Use of Rapid Response Teams. Feeding tube care and management. Blood product administration. Central line blood draw. Peripheral line care/management. PICC line management. Nasal cannula administration. Central line sterile dressing changes. Chemotherapy administration.

    Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

    Unit Details: Mixed-acuity PCU and Med-Surg oncology/BMT unit. Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (adult), amyloidosis, aplastic anemia, chronic leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), chronic myeloid (myelogenous) leukemia, Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative disorders, and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Autologous transplants: patients receive their own stem cells. Syngeneic transplants: patients receive stem cells from their identical twin. Allogeneic transplants: patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor. CAR-T therapy. Uses GE telemetry system, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds.

    Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage is variable based on unit needs.

    Floating Requirements: Float to other MedSurg oncology units.

    AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
