Required Credentials: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.
Unit Details: Cares for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. Responsibilities include patient education on wound care, mobility, self-care, medication management, and care transitions; coordination with physicians and surgeons; setup of orthopedic traction and surgical traction devices; and management of wound vacs, drains, pouches, and other urological devices.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call: none. 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: Float to similar units. Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
