Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous program development and implementation experience with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Recent experience in orthopedics preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Preferred Credentials:
- Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification.
Unit Details:
- Cares for the joint replacement population from pre-operative class through recovery.
- Role includes care coordination, inpatient processes/protocols, risk factor identification, patient and family education, psychosocial and emotional support, and follow-up support throughout recovery.
- Supports development, implementation, and evaluation of the Joint Replacement Program.
- Uses Word and Excel.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with opportunity to come in a little later on some days.
