Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience in a pediatric hospital required.
• Must have experience from a 30-bed or greater PICU.
• Candidates with only PICU experience will be considered if all other requirements are met.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of CVPICU experience preferred.

Unit Details:

• Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.
• Cares for congenital heart disease, pre- and post-surgical cardiac patients, heart failure, heart and lung transplants, and pulmonary hypertension.
• ECMO patients on unit; traveler will not be responsible for running the ECMO circuit.
• Mechanical support (VADs).
• CRRT patients on unit; travelers will not be expected to care for these patients.
• Ventilators, RA lines, pacemaker wires, and chest tubes.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float to PCU, NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed. Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.
