Required Credentials:
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts permitted.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.
Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Cardiac advanced device therapy management at minimum of IABP, Impella, and Swan-Ganz management preferred.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.

Unit Details:
80% cardiac surgery and 20% advanced heart failure patient population.
High-risk cardiac surgery includes open heart recovery, heart transplants, LVAD implants, ECMO, Impella, IABP, and CRRT.
Swan-Ganz catheters/CCO monitoring.
Uses COMPASS.

Floating Requirements:
Float PRN to MICU, SICU, and medical or cardiac stepdown units.
