Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Epic test-out required. Driver license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.
Unit Details: Conglomerate ICU unit with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients. Cases and patient care include TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT, STEMI, HF, hypoxic respiratory failure, CHF, and pneumonia.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Floating Requirements: Must have the ability to float between the critical care service line, which encompasses ICU and step-down.
