    Additional Details:

    References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

    Special Requests: Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Travel pairs accepted.

    Unit Details: Trauma IV emergency department with Fast Track and a separate triage area. Travelers may perform triage after review and understanding of facility policies and procedures. ER holds are typically kept in the department, with attached ACU rooms used for overflow. Patient population includes trauma, strokes, STEMI, hunting injuries, MVAs, and farm-related injuries; not a stroke or STEMI receiving center, and those patients are transferred out. Nurse:patient ratios are 1:3-4 during day, more at night after 11p; after 3 am only 2 RNs until 7a. No monitor tech; RNs use a central monitoring station and read their own strips. 24/7 phlebotomy, RT, and in-house ED physician coverage with mid-level support.

    Shift & Scheduling: Start times: 10am, 12pm, 3pm. Manager makes the schedule, and clinicians should expect rotating variable start times. Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday. Holiday requirements: 2/3 at least for winter needs; otherwise usually every other during the contract.

    Floating Requirements: Float to inpatient for helping hands.
