Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume >100,000 visit ED.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous HCA experience preferred.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds. Techs are available in the cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage; unit clerks are available on days and nights. Uses Baxter pumps and GE monitors. Serves a multicultural community with over 120 languages in the zip code.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; scheduling must meet the needs of the department.

Floating Requirements: No floating outside of the ED, but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
