Additional Details:
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Special Requests: Must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Inpatient and outpatient endoscopy center; portable/bedside travel cases; balloon dilators, bronchoscopy supplies, dilators, electrosurgical units, endoscopes, ERBE (portable) (electrical coagulation instrument), fluoroscopy equipment (C-arm, monitor, beds), forceps, foreign body equipment, polyp snares, washer/sterilizer, bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, Endobronchial Ultrasound Scopes (EBUS), Endoscopic Ultrasound Scopes (EUS), flex sigmoidoscopes, and Provation. Assists with biopsies, procedure set up, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), closing of room at end of day, instrument processing and cleaning, restocking room supplies and supply room carts, bronchoscopy specimens, cytology specimens, frozen sections, gastric brushing, pathology specimens, colonoscopy, dilations (CRE balloon), EGD, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), esophageal foreign body removal, sterilization/disinfection, and Universal Protocol (Time out) procedure.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Some weekend call and one night of call every 7-12 days. RTO: 7 days max.
