    Special Requests: References must be from the 2 most recent places of employment.

    Unit Details: Independently administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and injections (chemo, hormonal, and non-chemo/hormonal) per provider orders. Accesses port-a-caths, PICCs, and Hickman catheters; performs venipuncture, PICC and Hickman dressings, and labs via ports, PICCs, and Hickman catheters. Monitors intravenous therapies and patient responses, notifies the medical oncologist or nurse practitioner of unusual occurrences, and initiates appropriate emergency action when necessary. Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding medications and treatments, expected responses and side effects, disease process, nutrition, activity, and physical adjustments related to the disease process or treatment. Verifies informed consent prior to administering chemotherapy. Requires knowledge of proper handling, administration, and disposal of hazardous drugs and proper PPE use.

    Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Holidays as required.
