    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg.
    • Experience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs).

    Unit Details:

    • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, with a focus on comfort and symptom management.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and contribute to care planning, symptom management strategies, and family education.
    • Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to families and caregivers.
    • Provide guidance and oversight to CNAs, delegate appropriate nursing support tasks (ADLs, hygiene, mobility), and monitor CNA documentation for accuracy and completeness.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • No holiday coverage required. -Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM(Day Shift)

    Floating Requirements:

    • Primarily based in the inpatient unit, with the potential to support in-home hospice visits as census demands.
