Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience in a hospital setting and travel experience. Recent experience with postpartum, couplet care, and circulating for C-sections required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 5+ years of RN experience preferred.

Special Requests: 1 bedroom housing at Wedgewood Manor is provided for 1 occupant. No pets are allowed, and pet units are not available. Transportation is not provided, and walking is not recommended in winter; a vehicle must be secured for transportation. Up to 14 days of time off may be requested, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts, and all RTO must be requested at time of submittal. Permanent residence must be 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks.

Unit Details: RNs work in labor, postpartum, couplet care, and triage. About 80 deliveries per month.

Shift & Scheduling: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. On-call: 3 shifts in a 6-week period. Holidays per unit needs.

Floating Requirements: To all departments when necessary.
