Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: Provides care to the inpatient obstetric patient. Monitors fetal well-being. Administers medication specific to the obstetric patient. Provides patient education specific to the obstetric population. Participates in the intrapartum care of the patient and newborn in labor, delivery and surgical delivery.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend shifts required. Holiday shifts: none. On-call: none.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
