For positions that require radiation exposure, clinicians are required to purchase their own OSL Luxel dosimeter badge.
Required Skills/Experience: LDRP experience required. Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in c-sections. Must be comfortable assisting with catching baby and transitioning baby. Must have 2 years of experience; will consider someone with 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior travel experience.
Special Requests: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Block scheduling available when requested in the contract.
Unit Details: Ratios: 1:2 L&D and 1:3-4 couplets. Patient population includes 33 weeks and above; high risk, preeclampsia, diabetic, psych/social issues, positive illicit substance use. Titrates magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin drips. Uses Centricity Perinatal.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; night weekends are Friday and Saturday. Holidays rotate with permanent staff. When placed on standby, response time is 45 minutes.
Floating Requirements: Mother baby and postpartum are all one unit. No floating to NICU. No floating outside of the department; labor travelers also need to function in postpartum with routine mom and baby competencies and need to be able to transition babies and attend low-risk deliveries.
