Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.
Unit Details: Uses Matrix/MatrixCare. Ratios: Nurses 1:10 on day, 1:19 nights. Patient population includes heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. Duties include acting as charge, passing meds, and performing wound care. No IVs or titratable drips. No tele monitors. Long-term care only; no rehab beds. After-hours physician availability by phone. Uses oxygen concentrators and portable concentrators.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other major holiday. No call. No blocked schedule and no self-scheduling.
Floating Requirements: First to float.
