Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
Required Credentials: No temp licenses accepted. All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test. Associated degree in nursing
Unit Details: Primarily specializes in the care of acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Predominately respiratory patients requiring treatment for pneumonia, shortness of breath, COPD, and other lung diseases, with additional medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical patients. Patients benefit from daily rounds with the entire interdisciplinary team. Nurse-patient ratios are 1:6 on the medical respiratory unit and 1:4 on the respiratory step-down unit.
Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. Every other weekend. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
