Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have charge experience OR be willing to learn and take on charge duties.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Neuro and stroke experience highly preferred.

Special Requests:

• Block requests are considered, but never guaranteed.
• Requested time off: up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved; anything more is subject to approval prior to confirmation and would need to be made up at the end of the assignment.

Unit Details:

• Medical and surgical neuro patient population, including Parkinson's, stroke, and lumbar cases; no trauma.
• Uses customary equipment, including IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• Every other full weekend required; Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved prior to confirmation.
• Expected to work at least one major summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) or one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day).
• Call requirements as required by facility.
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements:

• As required by facility, will float to Med Surg and Progressive.
