Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent equivalent experience is required.
Chest tube experience is required.
Experience with tubes is required.
Experience with drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone is required.
Experience with lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients is required.
Experience with trachs/laryngectomies is required.
Experience with complex wounds is required.
Experience with central lines, including care and maintenance and blood draws, is required.
Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
Must have telemetry experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous float experience highly preferred.

Special Requests:
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.

Unit Details:
Deceased Patient Coordinator coverage may be required.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day/night rotation with night shifts from 19:00-07:00 and day shifts from 07:00-19:00.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
Floats between all Med-Surg units as needed, including 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, and PACU.
Travelers will work ED and PACU borders.
