Special Requests:

• Any special scheduling requests must be made with manager upon arrival at facility.
• Block scheduling case by case basis.

Unit Details:

• Uses Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, continuous pulse ox, specialty beds, transfer equipment, wound vacs, chest tubes, NG and feeding tubes, bladder scanners, a 12-Lead EKG machine, Teletracking for bed placement, MobiLab, PatientKeeper, Inspire App, and Wound Capture.
• Cares for medical-surgical, orthopedic and spine, trauma, and psych medical hold patients.
• Procedures and cases include post-catheterizations without intervention, lap appy/chole, thoracentesis/paracentesis, IR procedures, stable traumas, HD/peritoneal dialysis, and CBI.
• Very busy Med-Surg and Ortho/Spine unit.

Shift & Scheduling:

• At least one weekend within 4-week period. May be split up.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating within unit's discretion.
