Additional Details:
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Required Credentials:
- Driver license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
- Ascension Pharmacology exam required during onboarding prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension Specialty exam required during onboarding prior to start; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Ascension EKG exam required during onboarding prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Cerner test-out required.
Special Requests:
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
- Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Unit Details:
- Cardiac telemetry unit caring for all cardiac needs, including post-op care.
- Level I trauma center serving patients of all ages.
- Supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
- Up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period and holidays if the department has a need.
Floating Requirements:
- Required to float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg departments.
