Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required.

Required Credentials:

• No temp licenses accepted.
• All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.
• NURSYS
• Associated degree in nursing

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care.
• Primarily focused on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
• Includes stepdown care and recovery after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Holidays as required. Every other weekend.
• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
