Required Skills/Experience:
Experience initiating, titrating, and managing vasopressors, thrombolytics, antihypertensives, antidiabetics, and sedation.
Experience with ventilator management.
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring.
Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
Experience with sepsis management.
Experience with central line management.
Experience with arterial line management.
Experience with chest tube management.
Experience with blood administration.

Unit Details:
Patients include post-surgical patients, patients after cardiac catheterization with post-PCI, and patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, AKI, and unstable arrhythmias.
Equipment includes medication infusion pumps, a rapid infuser, bedside cardiac monitors, mechanical ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and a bladder scanner.
Patient ratios vary: 2:1 in critical care, 4:1 in step-down, and 6:1 in standard care.

Shift & Scheduling:
12-hour shifts with call.
Holiday coverage is required.
RTO: No more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract.

Floating Requirements:
May float to Med/Surg, Tele, Step-Down, and Observation floors.
