Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CVICU experience a plus but not required.
Special Requests:
- No block schedule requests; 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
- Blended ICU/CVICU caring for adult and geriatric patients.
- Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
- Uses Baxter pumps.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Call required.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) and ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis.
