Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years CVICU experience required.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• Experience from a large teaching facility, not LTACH or critical access hospital.
• Anticoagulation management.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
• Shock management.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Shock management is focused on medication management.
• Anticoagulation protocols vary by unit/diagnosis.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No on call.
• Every other weekend.
• Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements:

• Will be required to float to all critical care units, including MICU/SICU, open heart, cardiac ICU, trauma/neuro ICU, neuroscience ICU, and burn, or to MS or low level monitoring if needed. ICU ratio 1-2 or 3; MS and low level monitoring ratio up to 4 patients.
