References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years ICU experience required in large (450+). EVD experience required. Strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience required. Will consider candidates with less than 2 years if they have 18 months of Neuro ICU experience.
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. SIMs Lab required for Foley catheter insertion; pass/fail.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Time off must be approved by manager.
Unit Details: Neuro ICU caring for critical care patients with neuro diagnoses. Procedures/cases include cranis, brain tumor removal and ablations, brain biopsies, complicated spine surgeries, and scoliosis repair. Uses Phillips monitors and vents.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Holidays based on unit coverage. May be placed on standby for a scheduled shift.
Floating Requirements: First to float to ICU/MS/Tele, including possible floating to Westgate or AZ General Laveen; Tele is 1:4 ratios.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
