Preferred Skills/Experience:

• CVICU experience a plus but not required.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric blended ICU/CVICU unit.
• Common diagnosis/treatment includes STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
• Equipment includes Baxter pumps.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• Call required.

Special Requests:

• No block schedule requests; 48 hours can be considered but not guaranteed.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis.
