    Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

    References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. The pass/fail exam is given on Wednesdays during orientation, is open book, and requires a minimum score of 90%.

    Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Block scheduling is generally not approved unless it is weekends only. Duos requesting the same schedule or sharing a car are not accepted. RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract. Additional RTO after submission will not be approved.

    Unit Details: Adult ICU patient population includes trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. RNs are required to titrate drips, including cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation. Respiratory equipment ranges from nasal cannula to ventilators. RNs are required to read, interpret, and document telemetry strips; monitor brand is GE, with telemetry technician oversight.

    Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Minimum of 2 holidays that fall within the contract timeframe. If placed on call and called back in, you must arrive within 30 minutes.

    Floating Requirements: Typically floats to PCU and occasionally MedSurg, taking the same patient ratios typically assigned on those units (1:4 or 1:5).
