Required Skills/Experience: Blood product administration; care of ventilated patient; central line care/management; CVA/acute stroke management; external ventricular drain (EVD); hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun; ICP monitoring; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; lumbar drains; post craniotomy; post neurosurgery management; spinal cord injury; traumatic brain injury. Unit does not accept 1st time travelers.

Required Credentials: All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within the last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement is half of the contract weekends.

Floating Requirements: Float to ICU/IMC/Tele.
