Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Level III-IV NICU experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
Special Requests:
- Can no longer accommodate travel pairs or trios.
- No locals within 75 miles.
Unit Details:
- High-volume delivery hospital with a neonatal transport team.
- Neonatal patient population.
- Hypothermia therapy.
- Cares for prematurity to 23 weeks gestation, intraventricular hemorrhage, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, respiratory distress/respiratory failure, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, apnea of prematurity, chromosomal anomalies/syndromes, GI defects requiring surgery, necrotizing enterocolitis, cardiac defects, neonatal abstinence syndrome, feeding disorders, and anemia.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 6 weekend shifts per contract.
- No call.
Floating Requirements:
- Will float to PICU/Peds, Postpartum, labor and delivery, or mother/baby to care for infants and perform assessments, vitals, and labs on well newborns. In PICU, assignments are infants 6 months or younger, often NICU overflow Level II patients; ICU assignments are always either 1:1 or 1:2. Floating likelihood has been low July - December.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
