All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have Charge Nurse experience for this role. This position can expect to regularly work in the Charge Nurse position.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer.

Unit Details:
Adolescent and adult patient population.
High-risk labor and delivery unit with OB triage/testing, antepartum, OR, and PACU care.
The unit averages around 7 daily deliveries and often has up to 14 patients, including inductions and high-risk antepartum patients.
OB triage averages 4-5 third-trimester testing patients daily, with additional triage patients each day.
Procedures include cervical cerclage, cesarean delivery, hysterectomy, and D&C.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift may be 3x12 or 4x12 nights.
No call.
Every other weekend.
Flexible contract hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Floating Requirements:
If needed, may float to like units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
