Required Credentials: Education: ASN / BSN

Unit Details: Patient population includes labor, gestational diabetes mellitus, preeclampsia, and hypertension. RN ratios: 1:1, 1:2 (AWHONN standards). Care of mother and baby; delivery of baby. Surgical tech support available; charge nurse may or may not be in staffing; phlebotomy available; no IV/VAT team; RT available 24/7; intensivist available 24/7 if needed. Fetal monitoring on unit. Uses Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, GE fetal heart monitors, Novii, Neptune, Bovie, and Panda Warmers.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. No call.
