An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 -2+ years general Med/Surg experience.
• Experience with venipuncture and Cardizem is required.
• Experience with ports, Foley/straight cath, and stable drips is required.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4/1:5, and NOC shift 1:6, occasionally 1:7.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day or night 12-hour shifts: 7a-730p or 7p-730a.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• No on-call requirements.
• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float as needed within skillset to observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and/or transitional care units. Facility will try to keep the traveler in 1-2 like units, but there is potential to float to another unit.
