Required Skills/Experience:
Candidates may be screened with at least 1 year of experience or with only MS work history and strong tele skills; candidates with 2+ years of RN experience need at least 1 year of recent MS or MS/tele experience in an acute care inpatient facility.
IV start required.
Telemetry required.

Required Credentials:
RNs only: Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Special Requests:
Parking costs $73 at the North Surface Lot, $63 at the Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot, or $73 at the Clayton Taylor Garage; prices and availability may vary.
Parking at the Laclede Garage for orientation costs $15; Barnes does not validate or reimburse this charge.
Straight night shifts may use employee parking at no charge.
Day/night rotations require a Clayton/Taylor Ave. parking pass costing $70 per month.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Some floors use primary nursing.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
No call.
No more than 7 days of RTO.

Floating Requirements:
Floats within Barnes-Jewish Hospital to meet facility needs, shift to shift, across Med Surg, Tele, Trauma, Oncology, Heart and Vascular, Neuro, Medicine, COVID, and ED holding/boarding; all inpatient areas may be included except W/I and L&D.
